Hello and welcome to the Blue Sky Builders website. I am grateful for the opportunity to present myself, my company and our work, and to show what makes Blue Sky Builders a standout in the world of construction.

Blue Sky Builders specializes in high quality green building, and in the kind of thinking and doing that will achieve the best possible end product. The focus of our approach is on sustainable design, energy efficiency, healthy environments and comfortable living spaces. Our projects range from organic natural self-sufficient homesteads to high performance houses and buildings fit into existing urban developments.

Blue Sky Builders is a complete building services company. We can take your project from concept to completion, with as much or as little involvement on your part as you like. We offer consulting, design work, general contracting and other special services as needed.

Blue Sky Builders is based on the Western Slope of Colorado, and works mostly in the Telluride, Ridgway and Montrose area. We will work outside our local area if it makes sense for the client and for us, and welcome interesting projects anywhere in the world. The type of project and the intent of the owner is more important than the location.

Most of Blue Sky Builders' work is high end custom residential homes. We also build light commercial projects, and have a strong desire to build LEED certified structures for public and private use. We enjoy challenging projects, especially those that are creative and forward thinking. Many of our clients have special needs or unusual desires that standard builders do not understand.
